What is the Florida Victorious Foundation 50/50 Raffle?

The gross proceeds of 50/50 tickets sold at each game go into a prize pool – 50% is awarded to the winner of a random draw which occurs at the beginning of the 4th quarter of the game and the remaining 50% is donated to the Florida Victorious Foundation. Every ticket transaction is electronically recorded and updated on the mobile devices, 50/50 website and kiosk screens around the stadium so that fans can see the funds raised in real time.

 

Where can I get Florida Victorious Foundation 50/50 Raffle tickets?

50/50 Raffle tickets can be acquired online at FV5050.com, from our 50/50 Roaming Sellers or at our 50/50 Kiosk locations within the stadium on game days. 

 

Do I have to purchase tickets to participate in the Raffle?

No contribution or purchase is necessary to enter or win. You can obtain a ticket by going to the FV5050.com Rules page and clicking the link “Free Ticket” for entry. There are suggested minimum cash contributions to the Foundation in connection with the receipt of Tickets.

 

How do I know my raffle numbers?

You will receive a confirmation via email upon obtaining a ticket. If you do not receive your ticket(s), please reach out to 5050@floridavictorious.com. 

 

When is the winning ticket number announced?

The winning number is announced in the 4th quarter during regular season games. 

 

Do I need to be present to win?

No, fans do not need to be present to win. Winners have 7 days after the winning ticket has been pulled to claim their prize.

 

Why does the winning number begin with a different number than mine? 

Tickets that are purchased online or purchased within the stadium, from different sellers, all have a variety of starting numbers. All tickets are valid and added to our jackpot pool, no matter what number your tickets begin with.

 

If I have the winning ticket, how do I claim the prize?

To claim the jackpot prize, a winner must contact a 50/50 representative at 5050@floridavictorious.com and provide proof of their winning ticket during the claim period (7 days after Raffle is drawn).

 

Who can purchase tickets?

Anyone that is 18 years or older is eligible to participate in the Florida Victorious Foundation 50/50 Raffle.

 

Where can I find the winning number?

The winning number will be displayed on FV5050.com/Winners following the closing of the Raffle.

 

Are my winnings taxed?

The Florida Victorious Foundation is required by law to withhold and remit to the Internal Revenue Service on the Winner’s behalf an amount equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the Grand Prize. If the Grand Prize is greater than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) and if the Winner is a citizen or resident alien of the United States with a Social Security Number (different rules as promulgated by the Internal Revenue Service apply for nonresident aliens and for resident aliens and citizens of the United States who do not have a Social Security number).

Q. Why does FV5050.com require my location and/or why am I receiving the following prompt: "https://FV5050.com would like to use your current location?"
Your current location is required to confirm eligibility. 

Q. What if I already selected "Don't Allow"?
Reloading the page should cause you to be prompted to share your location again. If you have specified that you never want to share your location, you will need to go into your settings to allow. See below for instructions.

Q. What if I receive the following prompt: "You must allow your browser to share you location to purchase tickets, Please click "OK" to reload this page, then be sure to allow your browser to share your location to share your location when prompted"?
The browser should reload the page and ask you to share location upon loading. Note: In some browsers, the popup may say "close" instead of "OK"

Q: What if I can not purchase tickets on FV5050.com due to Location issues?
You may have told your browser to never share your location. You need to change that setting to allow sale.

For iOS devices:
1) Go to the Settings App.
2) Go to Privacy.
3) Go into Location Services.
4) Ensure "Location Services" are on.
5) Scroll down and click "Safari Websites."
6) Make sure that Allow Location Access is set to "While Using the App."
Chrome has the same setting if you are using that instead.

For Android (though this may vary by version):
1) Go to Settings App.
2) Go to Location and make sure that it is on.
3) Go back to previous screen and go to Apps.
4) Go to Chrome.
5) Click Permissions.
6) Ensure that Location is enabled.

Note: If still experiencing problems, go to a maps app and see where it places you.
